Networking Opportunities
Students are able to join the Y.E.S. Alumni social networking community and receive an electronic newsletter that contains job orders, information about Y.E.S. and the community, and view other alumni profiles.

Career Integration (i.e. Career Speakers, Career Fairs)
Business professionals speak to grades K-12 about career opportunities in the area, as well as the duties and responsibilities of many positions within their organization.  The Annual Schuylkill County Career Fair allows grades 7-12 students to learn about careers in Northeast PA. Each year over 800 students attend the fair at Martz Hall, Pottsville.   MAEC also coordinates Career Awareness Day events for elementary schools who are interested.

Internship Placements
The Northeast PA Manufacturers and Employers Council is working in conjunction with local high schools, colleges, and businesses to provide internship opportunities.

Youth Employment Register
Students who have any type of certification can include their resume in the Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association's Resume Register.  Member companies with job openings are able to contact the student directly to arrange an interview. The Council acts as a referring agent.

Administrator in the Workplace
The purpose of this day-long event is to provide school superintendents, principals, and guidance counselors with a better understanding of the businesses and industries in the region and the skills required for jobs within those industries by touring a variety of businesses and industries within the region.
